“I thougth about everything like a million of times.” Alice sighed sadly. “Of course it’s safe in here, and not only in my house, but in the whole town. The demons that came here had to be really strong. I took care of this place to be as anti-demonic as it possibly can. Yet sooner or later they’ll find a way to lure us outside and then it’ll be on their rules.” She looked into her friend’s eyes. “I want the game to be played on our rules!”“Then it will be.” Anna nodded slightly and looked at her friend, taking a deep breath and thinking, she looked at the candles on the table that were lighting up the room only a little and back outside the window. “People always find ways to break the rules, and with demons it must just be in their nature… They can have me, or my clone at least.” She smiled, but her mind was elsewhere.
“We’ll also need to change your appearance, so that they wouldn’t meet you somewhere by accident. I have hair dyes in my bathroom and contact lenses and…” She stopped as she realised Anna wasn’t really listening. “You’re pensive. What’s wrong?”
